An Independent Zebra was started by makers for makers, we have a passion for shopping small, shopping local and shopping independent.

We started our journey as a 'pop-up' shop, originally for 3 months in the summer of 2016 just across the road from where we are now. We were completely blown away by how quickly we were embraced by the local community and we are now a permanent fixture on Stockbridge high street.

We now stock the work of over 200 small UK independent businesses in-store, from local designers who live within walking distance of the shop to other talented makers from across the UK.

We love all things quirky, original, fun and colourful and you'll find a massive selection of them instore, we hope they make you smile!
